Originally organized by parents and community members, PPPCS opened in September 2005 and is open to all city residents for grades K-8. The school is located at the former St. Elizabeth's Catholic School, and is undergoing an expansion to create a state-of-the-art learning environment. With the park at its epicenter, the school draws from the surrounding neighborhoods of Southeast Baltimore.
